The University of East London (UEL) is considered one of the best academic institutions in the country, offering students a quality education and excellent employment opportunities. The public university consists of three colleges: College of Applied Health and Communities, College of Arts, Technology and Innovation, and College of Professional Services. Some of the lecturers are not supportive, discriminatory, unprofessional, supervisors are not qualified for a thesis/dissertation area. This is by far the worst university experience I`ve ever had. I understand why many university students have suicidal thoughts and why some have experienced them. My experience with the University of East London towards the end of my semester cost me dearly. I have sleepless nights, increased health problems, depression, loss of appetite and suicidal thoughts. The way my exams were handled and my thesis had a negative impact on my studies and well-being.
Pathetic excuse from a university, how are they not embarrassed to charge a fee of £9000. Everything is an absolute minimum. I followed a 3-year civil engineering course at this university and I will share my experience. (Docklands Campus) Big huge library with lots of computers and not busy. The laboratories are well equipped, the classrooms too. Students from various London universities come to the UEL printing center because it is cheap and high quality compared to others. Very well equipped gym and sports facilities. Enough to increase your sporting potential. All that`s missing is swimming pool.
There are many different clubs/societies that you can join or even create your own. The Dockland Campus Careers Department is very supportive and organises employability workshops. I`ve never had a problem with Wi-Fi. The campus is located next to the airport, but the buildings are very well soundproofed. That`s good, but far from perfect. The staff is by far the brightest part of the university. The facilities and facilities are what is expected, but nothing exceptional. The wifi is terrible most of the time. The Studentenwerk is not up to date with most things.
The facilities are great. However, I had an extremely terrible experience when it came to enrolling in my course. Employees do not communicate well and there is also a lack of knowledge regarding registration processes between departments. I have gone back and forth 4 times and I do not see a positive result. I`ve spent quite a bit of money going back and forth, and the fee issues are still not resolved. No designated person who can be contacted. Very sad because I thought about offering internships in my organization, but I am not confident enough with what I personally experienced. I hope the rest of my course is ok as £8000 is a lot of money to cash in and not getting at least good, if not excellent, service 🙁 Not happy had been gone for 2 years and hoped that returning as a graduate had made things more efficient. Does not appear to be the case. Please note, however, that this is my personal experience and others may have had a better one than mine.
Conferences are good people, but hardly there. The sports dock is just a mess. For students, but they don`t listen to students. A struggle to get something with the clubs. It`s a university and they care more about the public because of the lack of money they have when they throw it to sports scientists who don`t accomplish anything. I took a Masters course in Social Work at UEL and Tavistock – I have never experienced anything so disorganized! Rankings have been delayed, grading tasks have been delayed by a week, and now graduation has been postponed because grades were not sent to the evaluation committee on time. I would not recommend this university to anyone! Don`t waste time or money! You will gain an in-depth understanding of how European Union law has evolved through the unique procedures of the main institutions and the role of the European Court of Justice. They will also examine EU substantive law through an analysis of the free movement of goods. You must comply with all UEL policies and regulations, both those in effect at the time of initial and subsequent registration, and those subsequently revised and published from time to time. Health and Safety Policy It describes the structures and processes by which UEL protects the health and safety of its employees, students and visitors. It confirms that students are receiving sufficient health and safety information, instruction and instruction. All students must take care of their health and safety. They must comply with UEL rules and regulations and cooperate with regulators in order to be able to meet their obligations.
Students must not intentionally interfere or recklessly abuse anything intended for health and safety. The code applies: this university seems friendly and welcoming. Many of the students are local and the staff is practical and realistic, which is good. Great focus on employability after graduation. The sports facilities are top. The money that students pay each year to attend this university is not put into the courses. If you complain about the facilities provided (whether quality or quantity) and report that you are not getting what was advertised when you applied, you will be told that the university cannot afford it.
